Virtual learning is a system of learning carried out with the use of internet technology and other physical devices. Virtual learning integrates traditional classroom experience with the use of internet-based experience. In an online learning platform, students or learners can interact with their subjects as they would do in the traditional classroom. Here, all learning materials including books, video, and audio are uploaded on the data bank while lecturers/instructors in turn present lessons using any virtual learning software.
What is GGL Virtual Learning?
GGL virtual Learning converts traditional classroom experience to technology-based learning. In the virtual classroom, courses offered by students are delivered closely with the use of the internet, lectures delivered 100% online, lecturers and instructors worked in hand with students to achieve common goals, assignment, and quiz assessed and marked, certificate awarded at the end of the programme.
How Does GGL Virtual Leaning Work?
One interesting question that learners ask about online learning is actually the method lectures are delivered. A common feature of GGL Online/virtual learning is the “Live” session/lesson delivery. We are so sure, all sessions record success in the live lesson delivery.
In addition to the Live sessions, the following features are also common in GGL Online/Virtual Learning;
- Group:
GGL virtual classroom has the Group feature to bring even closer the learning experience to learners in the database. The group feature connects the student to moderators of different course units and keeps students posted on new and updated terms relating their choice of course. Students are automatically assigned study groups so that further discussions of topics are easier than it would be.
- Unit Discussions:
On discussing a topic in each unit of a course, there is an avenue for students to write topics and make a simple note or ask questions relating to the topic into consideration. This is achieved in the Unit discussion feature.
- Notes:
In the Note feature option, learners write and save Note in each dashboard.
- Assignment and QUiz:
The Assignment and Quiz section of the virtual class is unique and tend to help tutors assess their student understanding of the subject. The Assignment feature helps students submit answers to instructors based on the nature of the assignment given. The Quiz feature in return helps instructors test the understanding of the students/learners by presenting results instantly on the dashboard showing the understanding level of the learners.
- Conference:
To wrap it all, the conference feature connects students to lecturers/instructors, especially during live lecturers and seminars/conferences.
