Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for the role of Operations Administrative Assistant to provide critical support to the management team in performing various administrative and operational tasks. This role ensures smooth execution of timekeeping, attendance management, reporting, and other HR-related duties. Key Responsibilities

1. Attendance and Timekeeping:

Monitor and resolve attendance flags in the system, ensuring accurate assessment of unexcused absences.

Track and reconcile missing punches (in, out, and lunch) and resolve discrepancies with management approval.

Enter and correct time punches for new hires and other operational needs.

2. Time Off Management:

Collect and organize time-off request forms for managers and associates.

Facilitate manager approvals for vacation requests and ensure accurate coding for time-off categories such as Vacation (VACP), Paid Personal Time (PERS), Voluntary Time-Off (VTO), and Lack of Work (LOW).

Assist associates with questions regarding balances and escalate unresolved issues to HR.

3. Counseling and Documentation:

Research associates’ counseling histories to provide detailed performance summaries and support managerial decisions.

Submit and track disciplinary actions and counseling documents for approval, ensuring managers have organized materials for delivery.

Enter corrective action documentation into Amazon’s GAPS system.

4. Reporting and Communication:

Print and post performance metrics throughout the shift as scheduled.

Assist managers with generating, tracking, and updating production and operational reports.

Support team projects aimed at improving reporting accuracy and efficiency.

5. Additional Responsibilities:

Conduct and assist with safety and dock audits.

Type and publish audit results for management.

Provide support for special projects or initiatives as needed.

 

Basic Qualifications

Experience working in Human Resources or a related administrative role.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Strong organizational and communication skills.
